Losing Weight After Pregnancy: A Step-By-Step Guide to Postpartum Fitness

Some styles of dancing are great ways to lose weight, Latin is only an example of one with two effects that can help. Dancing in this manner helps you burn calories, feel more sexy and shed those pounds quickly. You will be able to learn a few latin moves from online videos or workout dvd’s. Dancing is also extremely fun so you won’t feel like you’re working out. That means you’re likely to stick with Latin style dancing longer than any other fitness routine, and that’s when you’ll notice the weight coming off fast.

The Super Crunch: This exercise should be included as part of every post-birth workout. For this specific exercise, lie down on the floor, bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor. Put your hands behind your head, breathe in and out and, while holding your abs in, lift your shoulders and head off of the floor. Hold that position while you also lift your knees until they are touching your elbows while you also lift your hips up slightly off of the ground. Slowly put your body back into its beginning position. Do three sets of twelve to twenty to get your abs into the best shape you’ve ever seen while losing weight really quickly.

The Bicycle: In spite of the name, this exercise does not mean that you have to ride a real bicycle. This is a wonderful abdominal exercise that works wonders for post-natal women who want to drop their pregnancy weight. First, lie on the floor with your knees bent and your calves parallel to the floor. Your hands should go behind your head and you need to breathe in and then out while you draw in your abs. Keeping your butt relaxed, bring your left knee up to your right shoulder while you extend your right leg. Bring your head and shoulders up off of the ground during this movement. Then return to your starting position and then repeat the same on the other side. Do three sets of twelve to twenty of these a day and before you know it, your pregnancy weight will be gone. These exercises, if you do them often enough, will give you fantastic results in just a few weeks. They are easily done while your baby rests and are easy to spread out through your day instead of trying to do them all at once. Of course, doing them all at once, or doing any exercise for twenty to thirty minutes three times per week will help you shed that baby weight quicker. So, if you do these exercises as often as your body will let you, you’ll be able to get back into your pre-baby pants way faster than you had imagined.

You have brought back your beautiful baby home. The whole family is in awe of this tiny beautiful life. I was amazed about everything. The tiny fingers, the soft skin, the bright eyes starring back at m, the chubby thighs, the protruding belly and the sound of every cry is like music to my ears.

One look at my baby, and all the discomfort and pain of pregnancy and delivery seemed worth it.
